Keep in mind that we will spend the whole day together. Do not underestimate that feeling. You need to feel safe around your photographer, to trust them and to genuinely enjoy having them by your side.
Because every time you’ll look at your wedding photographs, you will remember not only how the day looked but also how it felt and who was there to witness it.
Can you help us feel comfortable in front of the camera?
This is truly a huge part of my job: making you feel safe, building a genuine relationship with you and creating an experience where you can fully be yourselves in front of the camera.
Most couples are not used to being photographed all day long and that’s completely normal. My role is to guide you gently whenever needed, while allowing real moments and emotions to unfold naturally.
Do you speak English fluently?
Yes, I speak english, French and Portuguese.
How would you describe your approach during a wedding day?
I always try to blend into the day naturally — to be truly present with you, happy to be there, making you feel comfortable while quietly documenting everything as it unfolds.
Being a wedding photographer is about so much more than simply taking pictures every single minute. Sometimes I’m fixing your gown, handing a tissue to your mother during the ceremony, helping your best man organize a surprise, or simply sharing a genuine moment with you in between everything else.

How far in advance should we book?
Most of my couples book my services 1 to 2 years in advance. often as soon as they secure their venue.

How many weddings does a photographer do a year?
Most wedding photographers in France photograph around 15 to 25 weddings per year.
I intentionally keep this number limited to ensure that every couple receives my full presence, energy and attention while keeping the experience deeply personal and human.
How soon after our wedding will our proofs be ready?
I love sending my couples a small preview just a few days after the wedding, so they can relive the emotions while everything still feels beautifully fresh and share the news with their loved ones right away.
Your full wedding gallery is then carefully edited and delivered a few weeks after the celebration.

What happens if it rains on the Atlantic Coast?
As a professional wedding photographer, rain has never frightened me. We are lucky to be on the coast, where the weather often changes quickly and it rarely rains all day long.
Of course, I always recommend choosing a venue with a solid Plan B option, just in case. But when it comes to your photographs, you truly do not need to worry. Some of the most emotional and atmospheric images are created in unexpected weather.
What kind of wedding albums do you offer?
I work with a professional print lab based in Portugal, creating stunning handcrafted wedding albums designed to last for generations.
You’ll be able to choose from a beautiful selection of materials, textures and colors to create something truly personal and timeless.
I personally design the album layout myself to ensure it reflects the story and emotion of your day, and you’ll of course be able to review and validate everything before it goes to print.
Can you help us create a smooth wedding timeline?
After more than 15 years documenting weddings, I always help my couples build a thoughtful and realistic timeline for their day.

Can we meet before booking?
This is incredibly important to me. I always try to meet my couples before the wedding day so we can truly talk, connect and get to know each other beyond emails and planning details.
If you live abroad, we can absolutely meet through a video call. And whenever possible, I also love meeting in person for example when you come to visit your venue before the wedding day.
How long does a wedding photographer stay
Wedding coverage can extend up to 15 hours. I rarely photograph a wedding for less than 6 hours, because your day deserves to be told as a real story not just a collection of highlights.
The longer your photographer stays with you, the more authentic and meaningful the memories become. Some of the most beautiful moments happen in between: the quiet anticipation before the ceremony, the energy on the dance floor, the hugs at the end of the night, or even the days surrounding the wedding itself.
Never underestimate the importance of truly natural photographs.
Who is the best wedding photographer in the world?
Honestly, I think wedding photography is something deeply personal. There is no universal “best” photographer only artists whose vision truly resonates with you.

Why is wedding photography so expensive?
Wedding photography is a significant investment because you are not only paying for a few hours of coverage, but for years of experience, preparation, artistic vision and the ability to document one of the most important days of your life with consistency and care.
Weddings also happen on a very limited number of weekends each year, especially during the summer season. A wedding photographer has to build a sustainable business around those few dates in order to make a living throughout the entire year.
There is also the reality of the equipment itself. Professional wedding photographers work with high-end cameras, lenses, backup gear, lighting equipment and powerful computers that must constantly be maintained and renewed to ensure reliability on a wedding day where nothing can be recreated.
And beyond the wedding day itself, thousands of photographs and memories must be safely stored and backed up for years. The cost of secure storage, online galleries and data protection continues to grow every year.
But more than anything, you are investing in memories, trust and in someone capable of preserving moments that will become priceless with time.
What do photographers wear to weddings?
I always try to blend in as naturally as possible during a wedding day, so please let me know if you have a specific dress code or a forbidden color for your guests and vendors.
Depending on the season and weather, I usually wear black or soft pastel tones to remain discreet and elegant throughout the celebration.
How many photos will we get of our wedding day ?
I don’t like to focus too much on numbers, because every wedding story is different. But most of my galleries usually include around 600 carefully curated and professionally edited photographs.

Do wedding photographers deliver all photos?
No and honestly, I believe that is part of my job as a wedding photographer.
Your gallery is carefully curated to tell the story of your day in the most beautiful, emotional and coherent way possible. Test shots, duplicates, blinking eyes or unflattering moments are naturally removed from the final selection.
Rather than delivering thousands of repetitive images, I focus on creating a refined and meaningful collection of photographs that truly reflects the atmosphere and emotions of your wedding day.
How long do wedding group photographs usually take?
I always recommend preparing your group photos carefully to make sure this moment stays quick, relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.
Create a list of your groups in advance, ideally no more than 15 combinations, including your wedding party, close family and closest friends.
I also suggest choosing one person who feels comfortable speaking loudly and organizing people easily, even guests they may not know personally. A teacher, military friend or natural leader is often perfect for this role.
While I photograph each group, they can already prepare the next one so everything flows smoothly and you spend more time enjoying your wedding day.
What is usually included in a wedding photography package?
Every wedding photographer works differently, but most wedding photography packages usually include coverage of the wedding day, professionally edited high-resolution images and a private online gallery to download and share your photographs.
Some photographers also offer engagement sessions, handcrafted albums, prints, teaser galleries delivered shortly after the wedding or even video coverage.
Personally, I always focus on creating a complete experience not only beautiful images, but also guidance, support and a smooth presence throughout the entire process.
